Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed - Galiakot (Rajasthan)

Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (RA) lived around 5th/6th Century Hijri. (About 10th Century ie 900AD) He is referred to as “Babji Moula” by many mumineen. Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (RA) was a sahib of miracles; he had the ability to make metal go soft just as Dawood nabi (AS) was able to do. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS) is descended from Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (RA). He is the eight Dai from the progeny of Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (RA). On the 27th of Moharram, Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (RA), while on his way from Sagwara to Galiakot for Dawat purposes, was attacked by a group of bandits on the outskirts of Galiakot. He and his companions fought them off, but as maghrib approached, Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (RA) prayed namaz; the bandits took this opportunity to attack him and he was martyred. The Mazar Mubarak (mausoleum) of Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (RA) was first constructed in 1245H by Syedna Abdul Tayeb Zakiuddin (RA). It is carved from white marble and is a place of peace and tranquility. The Mazar Mubarak was later renovated by Syedna Taher Saifuddin (RA) and then again reconstructed by Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS). Mumineen from around the world travel to the Mazar Mubarak of Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (RA). Even local tribes pay tribute to him by doing ziyarat. Syedi Abdeali Imaduddin (RA) says of Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (RA): “If he so directed the moon, it would fall at his feet. If he so directed a corpse, it would come alive.” Such words clearly demonstrate the shaan of Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed (RA).
